Robert J. Basarich II, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, passed away Jan. 15, 2012, in Sacramento, California. Bob was born in Clinton, Iowa on March 22, 1941, the son of Robert and Jennie Point Basarich. He married Erlinda Enano on Nov. 22, 1966. Bob served many years in the military and with the US Postal Service, where he retired in 2001. He is survived by his sister Beverly Basarich Shores of Indianapolis, IN, brother David A. Basarich (Cecelia) of Tulsa, OK, four daughters, Jennie Basarich, Auburn, CA, Lucita B. Kumagai (Monto), Davis, CA, Dr. Rhonda Basarich, Sacramento, CA, Lucia B. Nicholson (Aaron), Elk Grove, CA, six grandchildren, Naomi Nicholson, Shanah Nicholson, Erik Nicholson, Aleena Nichoson, Nikea Kumagai, Kailani Kumagai, June A. Seitz (Aunt) of Clinton, IA, three nieces, three nephews, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by wife, parents, and brother-in-law, J. Lloyd Shores. Funeral and interment were held in Sacramento, California.
